Step 1 – Discuss your training needs as the employer – Where do you need support? Which area’s will beneﬁt from an apprentice?
Step 2 – Decide whether you’d like to start with a trainee or an apprentice?
Step 3 – We advertise your vacancy through our network and The National Apprenticeship Service to match potential candidates to your needs.
Step 4 – We’ll pre-screen candidates to determine their suitability for the role through our telephone interview and application process.
Step 5 – Suitable candidates will be passed over to you for review, ahead of interview selection.
Step 6 – Interview your selected candidates; at this stage we oﬀer the option of our Career Connect team supporting the interview, however if you’re happy interviewing in house, we’ll leave you to it.
Step 7 – We’ll contact all the candidates based on your feedback and let them know if they’ve been successful or unsuccessful with their application.
Step 8 – we’ll correspond with all parties to organise the start date for your new apprentice.
Step 9 – we’ll enrol your apprentice into your company and deliver their ﬁrst learning session, covering policies, procedures, health and safety, and security (including safeguarding).
Step 10 – we keep in touch to see how everybody’s settling in at weeks 1, 2, 4, 8, and 12.
