Working week: 32 – 40 hours per week, term-time only to work over 4/5 days on a shift system between 08:00 and 18:00, normally 08:30 – 17:30.

Total hours per week: 32.00

Weekly wage: £176.00 – £206.00

Vacancy description

Duties include;

  • Contribute to good standards of hygiene and cleanliness in nursery
  • Your duties must at all times be carried out in compliance with the nursery’s Equal Opportunities policy
  • Be prepared to work anywhere in the nursery as required
  • To respect the confidentiality of information received
  • To ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development
  • To be aware of the high profile of the nursery and to uphold its standards at all times
  • To be aware of and adhere to all emergency and fire evacuation procedures
  • To be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety Policy
  • To understand that as part of training you will be required to move to other parts of the nursery
  • To undertake any other duties commensurate to the post as required by the nursery
  • Compile with Daisy Chain Policies and procedures at all times Support all staff and engage in a good staff team
  • To attend ALL out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, parents evenings summer fair, Christmas party, etc.
  • To attend and contribute team meetings
  • Under supervision to provide all aspects of care for children including washing, changing, (if appropriate), playing and feeding
  • To assist with meeting the personal and emotional needs of individual children.
  • To provide adult interaction with children in the nursery
  • To be aware and adhere to the nurseries confidentiality policy
