Brief overview of the role:

Apprentice Administrative Assistant required!
We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being part of a team. The ability to multi-task and adapt across all departments is essential. Assisting with administrative support to senior staff is required in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is required to be resourceful, a good problem solver and organised. Ensuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

Apprenticeship summary

Working week: You will work Monday / Friday 9am – 5pm- 35 hours per week.

Total hours per week: 30.00

Weekly wage: You will be paid the NMW for Apprentice which is currently £4.15 per hour

Vacancy description

Full on the job training will be provided as well as working towards :

  • Business Administrator Level 3 – Standard
  • Functional Skills-English, Maths and ICT if required
  • ERR – Employment Rights and Responsibilities
  • PLTS – Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

Duties of Role:

  • Assume receptionist duties when needed.
  • Distributing post.
  • Assist with daily admin tasks, i.e. photocopying, typing, filing.
  • Take on new claims and input data into our case management system.
  • Liaise with clients and Third Party via telephone.
  • Answer telephone and direct calls as appropriate
  • Receive and respond to email messages.
  • Assist senior members of staff when needed with admin work.
