Apprentice Business Administrator required for a security company based in Manchester , M12
The Business Administration Apprentice will be trained over the course of the qualification in the provision of an efficient, confidential and client focused administrative support.
Developing a professional approach, they will be responsive to the needs of internal and external customers
During your apprenticeship you will work towards:
Diploma in Business Administration (QCF) Level 3
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in maintaining up to date manual and electronic filings systems to aid the ease of document retrieval
• Prepare, collate, prepare and distribute documentation
• Welcome visitors and answer the telephone, taking accurate messages and relaying them as appropriate
• Develop skill in producing, compiling agendas, minutes, actions log, chasing actions, arranging conferences, workshops and events as required
• Use relevant project management principles and tools to scope, plan, monitor and report.
• Exercise good judgement and proactivity, making effective decisions based on sound reasoning and deal with challenges in a mature way
• Undertake financial transaction processing

Knowledge and Understanding
• Experience of creating and maintaining a filing system
• Experience of purchasing and ordering systems
• Experience of working in a busy office environment and telephone systems
• Experience of Microsoft packages
• Confident communicating with people at every level
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, with minimal supervision
• Ability to prioritise effectively and deal with conflicting demands on deadlines

Qualifications and Experience
• Educated to GCSE Level – possessing a good standard of Literacy and Numeracy at GCSE or equivalent level.
• Experience of using Microsoft Office packages
• Experience of processing financial transactions

The successful candidate will work a 35 hour week and be paid £5.50 per hour, hours and days of attendance will be discussed and agreed at interview stage
