What is an apprenticeship

Apprenticeship programmes provide you with a mixture of on and off the job training, with a diverse choice of career paths in all different sectors of industry and commerce. Your employers will benefit as a qualified workforce offer the opportunity to improve their business by having better trained and better motivated staff.

An Apprenticeship is not a qualification in itself but a collection of different qualifications that have been linked together to form a framework known as an Apprenticeship. They are work based programmes, which means that you will achieve your qualification while you are working, thereby learning while you are earning.
